Deadlines, Travel, and Visa Information

Registration Information 

All amounts are in Canadian Dollars. 

Financial support to attend the meeting is available. Applicants should include the abstract of the work to be presented at the meeting along with a brief statement about their position and funding situation. Applications must be sent by email to Mike Bergman (bergman@simons-rock.edu) under the subject line "SEDI financial support".  The deadline for the financial support application is April 2, 2018.

The abstract submission deadline is June 15. (Abstract submission is closed. If you have any questions, please contact the planner directly.)

The last day for registration is June 24. (Registration is closed. If you have any questions, please contact the planner directly.)

 

For Students

Early Bird (before May 1): 260$

Normal (before June 15): 280$

Late (after June 15): 300$

For other attendants (postdoc, faculty, etc)

Early Bird (before May 1): 340$

Normal (before June 15): 370$

Late (after June 15): 400$

Registration fees will be paid on the Registration page.  The registration fees include access to the lecture hall and poster area, free lunch, and refreshments. Coffee, pastries and fruit will also be available from 8:30 to 9:00 am each morning before the start of the session.  Registration fees also include the field trip and the Conference dinner.

Travel information

Edmonton International Airport is connected to Europe via Toronto, Montreal, London, Amsterdam, and Reykjavik. Transportation to the downtown area is availiable from a city bus to the LRT hub at Century Park or via Skyshuttle directly to many hotels.
